Yeah, I know that this is pretty late. I just realized that I never posted this from Halloween. Halloween came around this past year and I wanted to do something different from the typical goofy-faced jack-o-lantern. I wanted to do something beer-oriented. So when I took a look in my fridge and saw a bottle of Stone Levitation, I knew at that moment I should do something with Stone.

I went online and found a simple picture of their gargoyle. I was actually looking for an exact picture of the engraving that they have at their brewery in the Stone Brewing Bistro. I wound up finding something very similar and printed it out. I then used a razor to cuy out the outline of the gargoyle. Afterwards I put the stencil against my pumpkin, attached it to the pumpkin with sewing needles and used a Sharpie to make the outline. After that, it was the annoying part – Cutting out the pieces without breaking the pumpkin. It took me a while, but I finally finished it over an hour and a half later.

Granted it’s a lot of work, but it really looks awesome and stands out a lot when putting a candle inside of it. Now I just need to figure out what I’ll do for next year.
